PLA (polylactic acid) is the most common 3D printing plastic in the consumer world. It is beginner-friendly and easy to print with minimal hassle. We do not recommend PLA for outdoors applications or where shock-absorbance is a necessary quality.
This filament is mixed with wood particles to produce an aesthetic and convincing wooden look on your 3D printed parts. This may be enhanced with off-the-shelf wood stain or lacquer. Additives may increase risk of clogging on smaller nozzles. If clogging is observed, try using a 0.6mm nozzle.
For best results ensure filament is dry before printing. Do not heat filament in dryer to above 60°C for prolonged periods to avoid the risk of your filament fusing. Avoid storing unsealed for prolonged periods to avoid issues with brittle filament.
