High quality PLA filament for your printing needs.
Recommended print settings:
- Printing temperature: 190-230°C
- Bed temperature: 55-65°C
- Cooling: Moderate-to-high; avoid full fan for strength-critical parts
- Bed plate: Any
PLA (polylactic acid) is the most common 3D printing plastic in the consumer world. It is beginner-friendly and easy to print with minimal hassle. PLA is suitable for parts requiring high precision and stiffness, and is great under compressive loading. We do not recommend PLA for outdoors applications or where shock-absorbance is a necessary quality.
For best results ensure filament is dry before printing. Do not heat filament in dryer to above 55°C for prolonged periods to avoid the risk of your filament fusing. Avoid storing unsealed for prolonged periods to avoid issues with brittle filament.
