HacX! Hack for Public Safety 2025
PolyMate was proud to serve as a makerspace and prototyping partner for HacX! Hack for Public Safety 2025, a national innovation challenge organised by HTX and Microsoft in collaboration with SUTD. Through our makerspace facilities, prototyping resources, and technical workshops covering CAD design, Arduino development, and fabrication technologies, we supported participants as they transformed ideas into functional prototypes. By providing access to rapid prototyping tools and engineering expertise throughout the six-week programme, we helped teams accelerate development and bring innovative public safety solutions closer to reality.
Our Contributions
Over the course of the six-week hackathon, PolyMate supported participating teams through a combination of technical training, makerspace access, and hands-on prototyping support. Participants attended workshops covering CAD design, Arduino development, and makerspace safety, equipping them with the skills required to translate ideas into functional prototypes. Throughout the programme, teams also had access to PolyMate's fabrication facilities, including 3D printing and laser cutting resources, enabling rapid design iteration and testing.
